Development of Electronic Forms for Distance Learning in UARD

Law and Internet Foundation, partner in Consortium 'Innovative Software', has started the development and implementation of an information system for the needs of University of Agribusiness and Rural Development, to service the provision of quality distance learning in real working conditions for more than 20,000 students. The information system aims to automate majority of the communication between the lecturer and the student, as well as to improve the quality of education by providing equal access to a fully functional learning process and effective inclusion into it of people living outside academic cities, and people with special educational needs (persons with disabilities), employees and others in line with the goal of lifelong learning.

Main activities include: development of an electronic repository of standardized educational components - virtual library, creating and setting up assurance system of video lectures, development of interactive training module for of lecturers and administration and development of multimedia electronic appliances.

The project is realized with the financial support of the Operational Programme “Human Resources Development” 2007-2013 under Sub-priority “Development of electronic forms for distance learning in the system of high education”.
