The Commission for Personal Data Protection will celebrate the 28th of January - Data Protection Day, as well as its 10th anniversary with numerous initiates during January and February. The Commission announced the week between 23.01.2012 and 28.01.2012 for Personal Data Protection Week and created a special internet site: http://www.cpdp.bg/10-godini/. This site aims to inform about various ongoing issues on data protection, as well as about the risks, associated with internet, video surveillance, ID card copying, personal data protection rights in the Schengen area, etc.
Within the Personal Data Protection Weeek Dr. George Dimitrov presented his expert position on the personal data protection issues by participating on the 24 of January, 2012 in the show “Our day” on the Bulgarian National Radio, program “Hristo Botev”.
