Radoslava Makshutova graduated from Sofia University “Sveti Kliment Ohridski”, Faculty of Law (LL.M). Her professional interests include human rights, EU law, criminal law and intellectual property in the context of digital technologies.

During her university education she participated in international competitions in the fields of human rights and EU law as a member of the teams of Sofia University. In May 2017 she finished an internship in the Sofia District Court (civil law section and criminal law section), which helped her acquire knowledge in the fields of jurisdiction and the functioning of the judicial system. She has done internships in the areas of human rights, EU law, criminal law and administrative law. She has participated in the organisation of seminars dedicated to the application of the European Convention on Human Rights in Bulgaria. She studied for a semester in the Law faculty of Universidade Nova de Lisboa (Erasmus Program).

She has worked in one of the leading newspapers in Bulgaria, writing articles related to law and public administration. In 2016 she was nominated for the journalist prize of the Bulgarian Jurist Union.

She joined the team of Law and Internet Foundation in March 2018 and she participates in the drafting and preparation of legal projects.

She speaks English and Spanish fluently and has a good command of Portuguese and French.
