A special Workshop on „Smart Surveillance: Global Perspectives” took place in the beginning of February 2014 in Perth, Australia. Host of the event was the Edith Cowen University. Dr Craig Donald, an industrial psychologist with a specialist involvement in human factors issues in technology integration and the security industry, was key Workshop speaker. Interesting topics and new developments in the field of smart surveillance were presented. A special presentation of a high-tech surveillance project of the Western Australia Police was organized.
Law and Internet Foundation was represented on the event by Assoc. Prof. George Dimitrov – Chairperson, and Ms. Alexandra Tsvetkova - Executive Director.
