CONSENT Wokshop Sociology of Privacy and Cultural differences on Privacy

Subject: On 13 and 14 January 2011 in Rome, Italy, was held the workshop Sociology of Privacy and Cultural Differences on Privacy, part of the Working Package 13 "Analysis of Cultural Differences in the Concept of Privacy" with the collaboration of National Research Council (Consiglio Nazionale delle Ricerche), Italy – the host of the event. During the workshop of CONSENT project between the representative from the EC and the project partners were discussed the cultural differences regarding the privacy. Some of the organizations presented the characteristics of their countries in this field. On the first day of the event Ms. Desislava Krusteva, a expert of Law and Internet Foundaion performed the presentation "Bulgaria – cultural differences and privacy" in which she emphasised on the changes in the perception of people about the privacy after the fall of the communist regime.
