Description

The project’s main objective is increasing the capacity of the state officers on regional and local level for effective execution and implementation of acquis communautaire in the information society area. It aims at building the knowledge and skills needed for applying of the requirements of the new Electronic Governance Act in the three main elements of the reform – legislation, information and communication technologies, and internal reorganization of the administration.

The conducted specialized trainings contributed to the introduction of the e-governance principles, the primary and secondary legislation in the area; and the necessary inter-organizational structural changes, re-engineering of processes and preparation of the new internal rules for the organizational work in the administrations; as well as for the understanding of the ICT architecture of e-Government and its specific parts, including the need for certification.

Law and Internet Foundation’s activities under the project includes the elaboration of training programs and materials, conducting of 7 train the trainer and 4 specialized trainings for employees of municipal and district administrations for total number of 500 people.

The project is realized with the financial support of the Programme PHARE.
