Dear colleagues and partners,

Inclusive and continuing education, including that which promotes social integration, is of utmost importance for any society. The NESTOR project focuses on improving the parenting skills of prisoners by establishing and pilot testing a National Network of 30 prison parenting schools. In order to improve the understanding of these problems, we invite you to participate in the presentation of the results of the NESTOR project, financed under the ERASMUS+ program of the European Commission, which will take place on January 23, 2024 at Puzl Coworking (Business Center Vitosha) from 08:30 to 12:00.

The presentation of the project aims not only to explain the work of the consortium within the project, but also to provoke a discussion about the conditions of serving a sentence in different European countries and the good practices promoted and observed within the project. The event includes the following modules:

  • Presentation of the work on the project within Bulgaria;
  • Presentation of the manuals and training materials created within the project;
  • Presentation of good practices in the EU regarding the prison environment;
  • Presentation of the good example from the Bulgarian prisons.

The invitation is extended to representatives of the national authorities, civil organizations, the private sector and the media.
