On 20-21 September 2017 the international conference QED'17 “Children in the Digital Era” will be held in Sofia under the Patronage of the Bulgarian National Commission for UNESCO.
The international conference is organised as a regional event that will take place after EDUsummIT 2017, which is the fifth International Summit on Information Technology in Education to be held in Borovets, Bulgaria, on 18-20 September 2017. With theme “Rethinking Learning in a Digital Age”, EDUsummIT 2017 aims at bringing together around 150 distinguished policy-makers, educators, researchers and representatives of the corporate sector from across the world to discuss key emerging issues concerning the use of IT in education.
The regional conference QED'17 “Children in the Digital Era” will present the outcomes of the global forum to enhance positive impact on the education systems at the local, regional and international levels.
During the two-day event, Law and Internet Foundation in cooperation with the Ministry of Transport, Information Technology and Communications will organise a workshop about “Digital Generation – Skills & Security”.
The workshop will be held on 20 September 2017 at 10:30h in Vyara Hall at the Sofia City Library.
