On 13 June 2012 in Floriana, Malta, was held Steering Committee Meeting on the project RESPECT. During the meeting an overview of progress achieved between March 2012 and June 2012 was presented. Each Work-Package Co-ordinator made a short presentation on the Work-Package work-in-progress indicating months elapsed and yet to run, reporting any risks anticipated of being late etc. The participants in the meeting heard presentations by Ms. Ahmadi Zeleti on the topic of "Surveillance and use of ICT for social control in different cultures: emerging trends in Europe, Iran and other countries" and by Sophie Clavet on „Intelligence Support Systems for Lawful Interception, Criminal Investigation and Intelligence Gathering". The strategic decisions regarding the dissemination of information, the final studies, the organization of the future events and the communication with the stakeholders were taken.
Law and Internet Foundation was represented on the event by Assoc. Prof. Dr. George Dimitrov - Chairperson and Ms. Alexandra Tsvetkova - Executive Director.
