Very Exciting News!

We are thrilled to announce the successful conclusion of the final conference for the DISRUPT project! This event marked a significant milestone in our efforts to combat technology-facilitated trafficking of human beings, with a special focus on using digital evidence to tackle child trafficking for sexual exploitation.

Held at the Urban Valley Hotel in Malta, the conference brought together experts, law enforcement officers, legal professionals, and victim support workers from across Europe. Through dynamic dialogues, interactive panels, and thematic workshops, participants shared insights and best practices on improving investigations, prosecutions, and judicial responses using digital evidence.

Key highlights included:

  • Discussions on identifying trafficking among vulnerable communities.
  • Implementing victim-centric approaches in investigative and support mechanisms.
  • Developing preventive investigative approaches to address root causes and systemic vulnerabilities.
  • Fostering intelligence exchange between security and non-security actors.

We are proud of the collaborative spirit and the robust professional connections established during this event. Together, we are making strides towards a safer and more just world.
