On the 5th of November, the partners from Italy, Bulgaria, France, and Poland convened in Brussels and online for the second project meeting of the iCare2 Project to review progress and plan the next stages of the project.
Partners refined final details for the Train the Trainer event, taking place on the 6th and 7th of November in Brussels, reviewed communication progress, and discussed the project’s core deliverables, including the national reports of Bulgaria, Italy, France, and Poland. The iCare2 national methodologies for international family mediation were also discussed. Each team reflected on their national report and methodology adaptation.
Lastly, initial insights from the recently established pre-mediation desks, which serve as first points of contact for families seeking information and support in cross-border family disputes, in all four partner countries, were shared. The partners reported about the cross-border family cases they have supported and shared observations on how families are engaging with the new pre-mediation desks.
The partners' meeting strengthened the cooperation across the partnership and helped align national efforts.
