Description
Law and Internet Foundation is a subcontractor of „BORICA – BANKSERVICE” AD for the implementation of Lot 1 “Creating a Register for e-Identity of the Consumers” of the Ministry of Transport, Information Technology and Communications’ project “Improvement of Administrative Service to Customers by Building on the Central e-Government Systems”. The project’s aims are to promote the e-governance and enhance the confidence of the citizens and businesses, to reduce the costs of the administrations upon the exchange of information and interaction between systems as well as to create conditions for more effective public governance. By improvement of the central systems of the electronic governance, of the process for providing of electronic administrative services as well as the interoperability, and providing opportunities for integration at the European level, the access of citizens and business to electronic services will be facilitated.
Upon the implementation of the project Law and Internet Foundation’s experts will implement the following activities of Lot 1:
• Participation in the development of a concept and methodology for electronic identity;
• Drafting of a law for amendment and suplementation of the Electronic Governance Act;
• Drafting of a tender dossier for delivery of infrastructure of an Electronic Identity Software;
• Legal services in the field of e-Government.
The project is realized with the financial support of the Operational Programme 'Administrative Capacity' (OPAC), and is funded by the European Union through the European Social Fund.
