Law and Internet Foundation, coordinator of the INFORM project, warmly welcomed the rest of the partners for the first project work meeting.

The Kick-off meeting was held on 09-10 October 2017 in Sofia, Bulgaria. During the meeting the partners discussed the project plan and schedule, as well as the outlined dissemination and evaluation strategies and criteria.

The project INFORM’s ambition is to provide cutting edge curriculum on the provisions introduced by the General Data Protection Regulation and Directive (EU) 2016/680, regulating the right to personal data protection.

The project concept is to reach the judiciary, legal practitioners and court staff utilising train-the-trainer approach. INFORM will engage trainers, empowering them with tailor-made materials and customised training methodology. The project team will also develop an e-Learning programme to directly involve target groups. In addition, the partners will dedicate efforts to raise the overall awareness about the on-going data protection reform and strengthen data subjects’ rights.
