On behalf of the Hellenic Agency for Local Development and Local Government (EETAA), the established scientific and technical advisor to the Greek State and local authorities on local government and development, we are pleased to invite you to attend the Policy Workshop “NESTOR: A national network of schools for parents in prison, enhancing responsive father parenting”, that is organized in Brussels, on 3 November 2023, 10.30-14.00, at the-House of Cities, Municipalities and Regions, 1 Square de Meeûs (1st floor). The NESTOR project, co-funded by the Erasmus+ Programme, aims to create and pilot test a national network of 30 parent schools in 20 Greek prisons with the participation of 300 father prisoners, which will serve to support the Strategic Plan of the Greek Ministry of Citizen Protection for the creation of an Academy of Schools of Parents in prison, for the first time at a national level. The Policy Workshop seeks to promote the developed methodology on adult learning focusing on reintegration issues while disseminating the project’s results ensuring its lasting impact in the long run at an EU level.
