Atty. Desislava Krusteva was a guest on TV Europe “Business Topics” on the 18th of January 2018.
The interview was focused on the trending topic of the forthcoming entering into force of the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR).
Part of the main issues which were discussed are: what is the new European Regulation; how its entering into force will affect the activities of large and smaller companies, and state institutions; what are the sanctions for non-compliance; and the risks of misuse of the personal data.
The new General Data Protection Regulation (Regulation (EU) 2016/679) will enter into force on 25th May 2018. The aim of the new Regulation is to harmonize the regulations for processing, storage and transfer of personal data between EU member states.
