On 13th June 2018 the expert of Law and Internet Foundation Att. Desislava Krusteva took part in the event from the programme of the Bulgarian Presidency of the Council of the EU "How can we turn GDPR ‘lemons’ into lemonade?" She was one of the panelists in the discussion together with Ventsislav Karadzhov, chairperson of the Commission for Personal Data Protection, Rosen Zheliazkov, chairperson of the Commission for Communications Regulation, Plamen Angelov, director for Legal and International Affairs at the Commission for Personal Data Protection, Kaloyan Staikov, Institute for Market Economics. Representatives of the telecoms and of companies for public utility services took part in the event.

The panelists commented on the practical implications of the new legislation in the field of personal data protection and the emerging methods to assure compliance with the GDPR.
