CARISMAND partners gathered in Rome for a brainstorming session on the future CARISMAND Toolkit and Cultural Map which will serve stakeholders at all levels and interested citizens in improving disaster management through deeper understanding of cultural characteristics.
On 23 and 24 January 2017 a dedicated group of experts within the CARISMAND project gathered in Rome to implement the project results and knowledge gained up to this point into the development of the Toolkit and Cultural Map.
The CARISMAND Toolkit and Cultural Map are valuable resources that are being developed throughout the project life time and will be made available by the end of the project period.
CARISMAND aims to identify the cultural factors of influence and the existing gaps and opportunities in the current policies and procedures in disaster management. The project also has the objective to develop a set of measures designed in accordance with the cultural factors of influence and thus support stakeholders’ efforts in disaster management.For further information, please visit the project website.
