The workshop took place on 5th March 2016 and was organised by the Civil Protection of Municipality of Florence in partnership with Phantasia Association under the patronage of Toscana Region and ANCI Toscana Association.

CARISMAND was introduced in the context of the European commitment of Florence to strengthen resilience to disasters linked to natural factors and human activities. The project was presented by Simone Orlandini and Giada Brandani, Centre of Bioclimatology (CIBIC) of the University of Florence, Marco Morabito, Institute of Biometeorology to the National Research Council of Italy (CNR-IBIMET), and Enrica Ciucci and Andrea Baroncelli, Department of Education and Psychology, University of Florence.
