Freedom of speech is a constitutionally guaranteed right of every citizen that stands highest on the social agenda. However, this right is not absolute - it brings with it obligations and responsibilities, as a right without obligations can lead to abuse and serious distortion of public opinion.

With the development of information and communication technologies, all sorts of ways have opened up for people to communicate with each other. This boom in technology has also led to the creation of artificial intelligence, and alongside this, has given room for reflection on the subject. But what is artificial intelligence? Broadly, it is the ability of a machine to demonstrate actions that are inherent to humans, namely to reason, to learn, even to create. At first glance, this sounds unrealistic, but in fact it is already part of our everyday lives. What is the problem then? On the one hand, the different opinions that have arisen about artificial intelligence, and on the other, misinformation and mass misunderstanding. This has also made possible the proliferation of extreme opinions and predictions that appear daily in the media and on social networks, as well as fake news. One of the most common headlines is precisely: 'Artificial intelligence is dangerous for humanity and will soon conquer us'. It is therefore necessary to analyse the subject more seriously and, alongside this, to put an end to speculation and fake news.

In article titled "The Looming Danger of A.I. Is One We're Not Talking About," New York Times columnist Ezra Klein noted, "We're so focused on the question of what the technology can do that we're missing the more important question: How will it be used, and who will decide that?"

Fortunately, like any other technology made by man, artificial intelligence also has a human producer and owner, and should serve his interests - whether the owner is a powerful company with its own commercial interests and goals, or a government that may be in the hands of a dictator determined to keep his people in line by manipulating and paralysing them with fear, or whether he aims to take over the entire world.

Surely, however, artificial intelligence should be seen as an achievement of technological humanity and not as a threat to our development or the extinction of a number of professions. We can easily come to this conclusion when we ask ChatGPT to solve a case with a complex legal and factual setting, and it replies that it cannot help us and it is best to consult a lawyer.
