This Policy Briefs seeks to present the developments in national legislation linked to the transposition of Directive 2012/29/EU in Bulgaria, Italy Romania and Greece and whether there is sufficient legal protection to child victims of crime for the period of 2019-2022. It also comments on other relevant legislative and policy changes in the area of the right of the child. The Policy Brief summarises practitioners’ insights working ‘on the field’ with child victims and concludes with the formulation of concrete recommendations to legal- and policy-makers.
