Description

With the purposes of developing adequate legislative framework on the regulation of the public relations connected to the exchange of goods and the provision of electronic services by the use of modern information technologies, the Center for Law of the Information and Communication Technologies developed an e-Commerce Act Draft document.

The drafted bill reports the current fundamental principles on European level in the electronic commerce sector and the established principles in Directive 2000/31/EC of the European Parliament and the Council on 8th of June, 2000, regarding legal aspects of information society’s services, in particular electronic commerce in the internal market (Electronic Commerce Directive).
