Description
The project’s objective was to contribute for overcoming the gap in the legal field related to the development of the IT sector and particularly in the areas of intellectual property protection and combating cybercrime in Bulgaria.
The project includes an analysis of the state of art of the protection of intellectual property and cybercrime prevention in Bulgaria, drafting proposals for the amendment of relevant Bulgarian legislation, organization of trainings for magistrates, lawyers and ICT experts concerning the specifics of the protection of the intellectual property on the Internet and investigation of cybercrimes. The outcomes of the activities were presented during a round table at the end of the project.
