On September 12, 2023, a national training for teachers, psychologists and social workers in schools will take place in Sofia under the LEAGUE project. The focus of the trainings is on behavioural signs that can be used to identify victims of sexual violence online, as well as prevention methods such as active mediation, technical monitoring and restrictions. The training will begin with a presentation of the project by the head of the Law and Internet Foundation, Prof. Dr. Daniela Ilieva. Work will continue in small groups, with participants doing exercises to define sexual abuse online. After a short coffee break, small group work will continue with case studies on identifying victims of online sexual violence and strategies to support victims of such violence. At the beginning of October, three more trainings will be held in Stara Zagora, Plovdiv and Pazardzhik. The locations of the trainings were chosen based on statistics on the cases of online violence against children, as well as according to their accessibility for the participants.
