Between the 13th & 15th of November 2018, MIICT project team gathered in Sheffield, the UK for the official launch of a new EU-supported project – MIICT. The event composed of a symposium where a sister project and other relevant studies and initiatives were presented, and of day and a half partner meeting.

The project aims to provide migrants and refugees with access to key public services, public agencies and NGOs with ICT enabled services and the necessary agency to take advantage of those services

The event gave a platform for the presentation of relevant research findings, as well laid the foundation of a strong partnership as the objectives and structure of the project, including management, internal procedures, and end-users’ involvement were discussed.

As a work package leader, Law and Internet Foundation was represented at MIICT launch event by Assoc. Prof. Dr. Daniela Ilieva and Denitsa Kozhuharova.
