From October 15-17, 2024, Zagreb hosted the General Assembly of the UP2030 consortium partners. Participants included representatives from research centers, local government and administration in the project's pilot cities, and other stakeholders engaged in transforming urban spaces across Europe.
The meetings were held at the Zagreb Cultural Centre.
During the assembly, visits were organized to local institutions that support the implementation of the project in Zagreb. The event featured presentations and interactive workshops focused on the progress of technological solutions being developed within the project, refining implementation methods, and setting key performance indicators.
As the Legal and Ethical lead of the project, the "Law and Internet Foundation" contributed to the discussions with its expertise on data protection, intellectual property, and citizens' rights.
One of the central topics discussed was the responsible use of data in the future urban environment, which incorporates multiple technological solutions.
The event concluded with a summary of the new "roadmap" for the partners' actions in the upcoming 2025, preparing the pilot cities for innovations in sustainable urban transformation.
