On 11-12 October 2018, the second INFORM Workshop took place in Sofia, Bulgaria. It was aimed at legal practitioners trainers. Altogether more than 34 participants from 17 different member states of the European Union came together. Enriched by exciting lectures, an intensive but at the same time broad discussion was held on the implementation of the GDPR and Directive 2016/680 in legal practitioners’ practice.
The INFORM Workshop welcomed legal practitioners trainers from all Member States with the goal to provide an exhaustive overview on their rights and obligations in light with the new European data protection legislation. Moreover, the workshop presented to the participating trainers possible approaches and methodologies that could be adopted in their mission to further train the INFORM’s final beneficiaries groups.
The project INtroduction of the data protection reFORM to the judicial system (INFORM) is implemented with the support of the Justice Programme of the European Commission under Grant Agreement № 763866.
