From 22 to 25 September in Nice, France will be held WORLD е-ID'09 Conference.
The World e-ID conference invites innovation and policy makers of e-ID to take a comprehensive look at the major deployments from across the globe and at the latest e-ID technologies, services & standards.
E-ID documents, biometrics and digital data management are on the roadmap of the public and enterprise sectors. More than 55 countries have started issuing electronic travel documents while several many transnational projects take shape in Europe.
World e-ID reflects these trends thanks to an exceptional panel of e-government/public programs representatives from 12 countries plus Europe. All in all, more than 20 e-ID projects will be discussed along with national working groups and international organizations results.
The lessons of e-ID initiatives are complemented by a thorough update on applications, standards, interoperability issues from the industry leaders and main associations, consultancy and standardisation bodies.
