The project Youth GenderAction is implemented by 16 different organizations from Spain, Bulgaria, Greece, Macedonia, Croatia, Finland, Latvia, Portugal, Ukraine and Hungary. It consists of a training course, which will unite participants from all partner countries to achieve concrete results in the fight against gender discrimination through youth work and education. Moreover, the training course will also provide participants with the opportunity to discuss opportunities to cooperate on projects that could be funded under all key actions of ERASMUS+, which can ultimately help to enhance gender equity.

Specific objectives of the seminar and the project are:

  • To understand and integrate gender equality in intercultural youth activities of the project partners;
  • To allow partners and participants to exchange and acquire professional skills to work on inclusion and diversity from a gender equity point of view;
  • To create space for sharing knowledge and exchanging experiences and good practices and to find a way and inspiration for the creation of local initiatives;
  • To contribute to the development of the quality of projects and support framework within the Erasmus+ program on "equity and inclusion”.

The project is implemented with the support of the Erasmus+ programme, Key Action 1: Mobility for young people and youth workers.
