Defne Halil holds a Master of Laws (LL.M) degree in Corporate and Commercial Law from Maastricht University in the Netherlands, where she has graduated cum laude and with honours. She also obtained a Bachelor’s degree in European Law (LL.B.), complemented by a minor in Business and Law, from the same university, graduating with excellence. Her academic background and research are centered on the interplay between law and technology, with a particular focus on the Digital Services Act, the Digital Markets Act, supporting SMEs, and the regulation of artificial intelligence.

Konstantin is a bright, young legal expert, who has already gained broad expertise in his practices namely Intellectual Property, Life Sciences, Digital & Technology and Dispute Resolution. He is a dual-qualified – having graduated his LLM in Germany and passed the Bar exam in Bulgaria, and quadrilingual, which helps him in supporting leading international companies on Pharmaceutical and IP matters, as well as local compliance issues, and deal with multinational and multilingual cases.

Polina Petrova holds a Master of Laws (LL.M.) degree in “European and International Business Law” (with a strong emphasis on Intellectual Property and New Technologies) from the University of Vienna (Vienna, Austria) (together with Stanford Law School), where she has graduated as an Academic Excellence Scholarship Recipient. Polina Petrova has gained a few years of professional experience at two intellectual property law firms, including in Singapore. She worked as a Legal Analyst at the European Commission, in Brussels, Belgium.
