Оn 21-22 April 2017 in Wroclaw, Poland the Wrocław Regional Bar Association of Legal Counsel, the Wrocław Regional Council of Advocates, the Research Center for Legal and Economic Issues of Electronic Communication and the Wrocław Court of Appeal organised the Legal Innovation Conference.

The aim of the conference was to discuss recent achievements in the field of legal innovations at the international level, including matters such as: use of electronic means in court proceedings, as well as current issues, which lawyers face while using new technologies in their daily practice, including but not limited to data protection, access to public information, IT solutions which support lawyers’ work.

Law and Internet Foundation representatives were invited to join the conference as keynote speakers.

To this end, speech of the Chairman of the Foundation – Prof. Dr. George Dimitrov, was focused on remote means for electronic identification, signing and the secure delivery of legally binding electronic statements. Law and Internet Foundation’s Executive Director - Assoc. Prof. Dr. Daniela Ilieva-Koleva, presented “Access to data for e-government purposes (Bulgarian E-government Law Perspectives)”. Denitsa Kozhuharova, contributed to the forum by summarising the Foundation’s findings that result from the implementation of the CITYCoP project.
