SMART Kick-off Meeting in Head Office of INTERPOL in Lyon, France

Subject: On 14 and 15 June 2011 the SMART project held its kick-off meeting in Lyon, France. The meeting was hosted by the International Criminal Police Organization INTERPOL. The project brings together 20 different institutional partners from a variety of discipline and research backgrounds from 16 countries in Europe.During the meeting the partners discussed and approved a number of items including three year project plan and outline dissemination strategy.Law and Internet Foundation was represented on the event by Dr. George Dimitrov - Chairperson of Law and Internet Foundation and head of the Working Package Smart Surveillance in Key Area of Application 4 – e-Government".
