Law and Internet Foundation as the leading partner hosted the official launch of the ALLIES project via hybrid kick-off work meeting. The Kick-off meeting was held on 22th and 23th of February 2023 in Sofia, Bulgaria. During the meeting the partners presented their organisations and expertise, and discussed the project plan, implementation questions, and schedule. Additionally, the partners discussed the objectives and structure of the project, including management, internal procedures, dissemination and communication approach.

The ALLIES project aims at supporting micro (and small) Hosting Server Providers (HSPs) in achieving compliance with the new requirements and obligations under the Regulation 2021/784 of the European Parliament and of the Council of 29 April 2021 on addressing the dissemination of terrorist content online also known as the Terrorism Content Online Regulation (TCO Regulation). The activities that will be carried out within the framework of the project aim to facilitate the day-to-day operation of HSPs via the provision of training, awareness-raising activities and software tools.
