"In many aspects our education system can be improved, but it is important to note all the positive changes during the last years - more male teachers in primary and secondary education, more young and ambitious teachers who are dedicated to the students and their generation in genera. The teachers participate more in variety of education projects and initiatives inside and outside the school and also the previous generation of teachers are much more adaptive to the new education requirements."

According to Assoc. Prof. Ilieva, the main problem is the clash between the generations: "Many teachers and lecturers lag behind their digitalized students."

As a lecturer more than 13 years, Assoc. Prof. Ilieva believes that "lifelong learning is not just a concept but a requirement nowadays."
