The fourth MIICT Consortium Meeting took place on 14th of May 2020, conducted fully online due to the COVID-19 pandemic. During the course of the meeting, the partners presented the progress of each Work Package, including the results that have been achieved so far, as well as the further courses of action that would need to be undertaken for their subsequent implementation.

Particular focus was put on developing the IMMERSE Platform of the project- an intelligent data analytics system, that captures the specific socio-cultural, economic and legal contexts of migrants and is shared with public authorities in order to facilitate their effective integration. This is realized through the help of information and communication technologies (ICTs), “matching” public services to the individual needs of migrants, encompassing the spheres of employment, healthcare, language courses and trainings, among others.

The project is implemented with the support of the H2020 Research and Innovation programme of the European Commission under Grant Agreement No 822380.
