Law and Internet Foundation becomes the newest member of the Digital National Alliance (DNA), which is a part of the European Commission’s initiative “Digital Skills and Jobs Coalition”.

The initiative addresses the significant shortage of professionals working in the field of information and communication technologies in the European Union, which limits the possibilities for economic growth.

The association aims to contribute to achieving the priorities set out in the Digital Agenda in Europe, and to solve this problem through concrete and coordinated actions by the public and private sector through increasing the number of ICT internships, as well as to establish more direct links between education and business, to standardize requirements and achieve other objectives drawn that lead to significant and positive changes at the national level.

Through coordinating on a national scale, for the development of society in Bulgaria, based on knowledge, promoting and developing digital skills for young people and the community as a whole, the Digital National Coalition aims to increase employment and achieve more efficient use of the digital potential.
