On 3.10.2023, Tuesday, from 13:30 to 17:30 in Stara Zagora in hotel Vereia, 52 Zahari Kniazheski str., a national training for teachers, psychologists and social workers will be held in schools under the LEAGUE project. The focus of the trainings is on behavioral signs that can be used to identify victims of online sexual violence, as well as prevention methods such as active mediation, technical monitoring and restrictions.

The training will begin with a presentation of the project by the head of the Law and Internet Foundation, Prof. Dr. Daniela Ilieva. Work will continue in small groups, with participants doing exercises to define sexual violence online. After a short coffee break, small group work will continue with case studies on identifying victims of online sexual violence and strategies for support.

A total of four trainings will be organized in Bulgaria: in Sofia, Stara Zagora, Plovdiv and Pazardzhik. The locations of the trainings were chosen based on statistics on the cases of online violence against children, as well as according to their accessibility for the participants.
