GUARD improves awareness in heterogenous digital service chains by embedding security capabilities in different layers of business processes, providing a framework for collection, analysis and detection. Most cybersecurity appliances have traditionally been designed to protect the physical infrastructure, and not the services implemented on top of it. Looking at the evermore agility and adaptability to the evolving context of both the infrastructure and service layer, GUARD chooses a service-centric framework, with security capabilities embedded into each digital component.
