Seventh i4Q Plenary Meeting

The Seventh i4Q Plenary Meeting took place last week, between 12th and 13th December 2023. The event was hosted by BIESSE (a global leader in technologies for processing wood, glass, stone, plastic and metal), at its headquarters in Pesaro, Italy, where partners met for a thorough discussion on the progress being made thus far, as well as to consider further steps to be taken.

Industrial Data Services for Quality Control in Smart Manufacturing (i4Q) is a 36-month project aimed at providing smart solutions for successful and zero-defect manufacturing.

After thorough discussions and presentations dedicated to all respective Work Packages, as well as having attended a BIESSE Pilot visit at the latter’s showroom, the two-day meeting has been concluded with an overview of the Solutions’ Implementation in the Pilots. More particularly, the Solutions’ integration and deployment status, evolutions from previous version, exploitation activities, etc., have been discussed.

The forum has also served as a place to officially announce the next important event – “I-ESA 2024” (12th International Conference on Interoperability for Enterprise Systems and Applications, Enterprise Interoperability through Data, AI, and Robotics), taking place in Crete (Greece), between 10th and 12th April 2024.
