The GUАRD project team gathered on the 16th and 17th of May in Bologna, Italy for the official launch of a new EU-supported project – GUARD.

GUARD will develop an open and extensible platform for advanced assurance and protection of trustworthy and reliable business chains spanning multiple administrative domains and heterogeneous infrastructures. Demonstration and validation in two challenging scenarios is envisioned to bring the technology to an acceptable level of maturity, as well as direct involvement of relevant stakeholders for concrete business planning.

The two-day event was attended by participants from all 14 partner organisations. The event laid the foundation of a strong partnership as the objectives and structure of the project, including management, internal procedures, and end-users’ involvement were discussed.

Law and Internet Foundation was represented at GUARD launch event by Assoc. Prof. Dr. Daniela Ilieva , Denitsa Kozhuharova and Martin Zahariev.
