Nikola Stoychev

Nikola Stoychev graduated from Sofia University “St. Kliment Ohridski”, Faculty of Law (LL.M.) and now specializes in Telecommunications Law, Information and Communication Technology Law, Media Law.

He has a diploma in Introduction to British Law and EU law issued by the British Law Centre under the auspices of and in collaboration with the Faculty of Law and the Faculty of Distance Learning at Cambridge University.

He has extensive legal and telecommunication and media-specific business knowledge and competencies, attention to detail and non-standard thinking.

He has extensive and varied experience in consulting local and international companies, including: Internet service providers, IPTV, telephone services, collocation services, music streaming service providers, television content providers, technology companies, e-shops, one of the leading mobile operators in the country, etc.

Nikola Stoychev is among the experts who participated in the consultations on the adoption of the Cybersecurity Act. At the 8th Annual Conference of the Bulgarian Association of Cable and Communication Operators at the end of 2018, he presented a draft Code of Ethics for Telecommunications Operators, in whose preparation he was actively involved.

Nikola Stoychev is a Legal expert in Law and Internet Foundation, Senior Associate in Dimitrov, Petrov & Co. Law Firm and a member of the Sofia Bar Association.
