Electronic healthcare (e-Health) is a newly created field, where medical information, public healthcare and business-related health services interact and where information is created or enriched on the Internet or with the aid of other similar technologies.. In general, the term represents not only the technical development, but also the change of thinking and acting on a global scale for a better local, regional and global healthcare with the help of information and communication technologies.
A senior expert of Law and Internet Foundation has participated in developing the Strategy for the Implementation of e-Healthcare in Bulgaria. Later on he has consulted the Ministry of Health in developing the Action Plan on the implementation of the National Strategy and has contributed to the control management of its execution.
Law and Internet Foundation experts have also been involved in consulting private companies and NGOs in the development of analyses, services, etc. in this field.
